Forest & Thread has grown from a DIY garment making kit company to a designer level digital PDF sewing pattern and virtual workshop brand. We needed a “makeover” to match the evolution of the company.

KITS

Each sewing kit includes fabric, a pattern, thread, and any notions required to complete the project. You can select your choice of environmentally friendly fabric, color, and trim, depending on the product. Every design has detailed illustrated instructions, as well as a corresponding photo tutorial, video tutorial, or workshop.

All of our sewing patterns are custom made in house. Available as colorful printed paper patterns, as well as digital downloads so you can keep creating as many versions as you would like! Comes with written illustrated instructions accompanied by either a photo tutorial, video tutorial, or optional virtual sewing workshop.

Our ready-to-wear garments are made-to-order, handmade in Brooklyn, NY. Once you choose your fabric, style, and size, we will produce a custom-made garment to fulfill your order. This allows us to only produce what is purchased which eliminates waste and overproduction. Slow fashion in the truest form, these garments are made with luxury level seam finishes.
