Forest & Thread Paper & PDF Sewing Patterns

Forest & Thread creates unique paper and PDF sewing patterns for home sewists with the intention to expand their skills and creativity. Every pattern designed for lightweight to midweight woven fabrics provides detailed instructions for self-enclosed seam finishes. Sewers will appreciate that any home sewing machine may be used to complete these patterns, no specialty machine (such as an overlock, cover stitch, or serger) required.

With the release of our PDF sewing patterns, we hope to slowly introduce home sewists to new ways of constructing clothing and industry terminology. The balance between offering a sewing pattern that is new and special and one that is familiar enough to fall back on previously learned skills is a fine line to walk. We hope that we have achieved such a balance.
