The Atomic Defense Ballistic Face Shield is a Level IIIA/3A rated, bulletproof face shield designed for superior protection against a range of common rounds including 9mm, .44 Magnum, 45 cal, 40 cal, 38, 22 LR, and 12 gauge. It readily mounts to any helmets with the standard ARC rail system, including PASGT, ACH, MICH, and FAST models. Equipped with a 4-way adjustable mounting system, it allows the user to bring the shield closer or farther from the face and adjust it up or down for optimal comfort. The shield features a self-locking mechanism, enabling it to stay in place at three different locking-points: straight ahead, halfway up, or straight up and centered over the head.

  • Color A fabric
  • Color B fabric
  • Lightweight to midweight fusible interfacing
    • *you may need different color interfacings for more extreme contrast color fabrics (such as black & white)
  • Matching all-purpose thread to your fabric
    • *you may wish to have matching thread to both your Color A and Color B fabrics on hand
  • 1x separating zipper
    • *see length requirements per size below
  • 3/8” (1cm) width drawstring trim

  • 1 3/8” (3.5cm) width soft elastic

Please note this workshop focuses on the self enclosed finishes included in the instruction booklet, specifically designed for woven fabrics. The videos will go in depth covering French seams, bias binding, and bound buttonhole construction methods.
